If you’re a man in the early to middle stages of hair loss, don’t give up hope yet! Hair transplant surgery can fight the effects of hair loss before it progresses too far. At The Canadian Hair Transplant Clinic, we provide hair surgery in a safe and clean environment.
Hair transplant surgery is exactly what it sounds like: taking hair from one part of the scalp or body and transplanting it to another by grafting it onto a part of the scalp where the hair is thinning. The process involves making tiny incisions in the scalp and transplanting one to three hairs at a time, with our follicle unit extraction using your own hair to replace that which you have lost; when it starts to grow back, it will recreate a natural look. We use the smallest incisions possible for follicle unit transplantation so it will heal quickly and with minimal scabbing.
If you’re a resident of the Greater Dundas Area and are considering a hair transplant, you may be wondering about the cost. At The Canadian Hair Transplant Clinic, we provide hair transplant surgery at an affordable cost.
Over the past 30 years, trends in the hair transplant industry have come and gone. In the past, both men and women simply wanted hair transplants wherever the hair loss and thinning was most prevalent. Now, it is becoming increasingly common for men who have trouble growing prominent facial hair or for transgender men to also request beard transplants. For women, the most popular trend right now is having thicker and more defined eyebrows; this means that more and more women are getting eyebrow transplants.

At The Canadian Hair Transplant Clinic, we offer the following:
Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) is the recommended surgical hair replacement choice amongst hair transplant patients because it has a higher success rate. It is a rather invasive procedure, however, that involves taking one lineal strip to produce 2,000 or more tiny hair follicles that consist of about 2-3 hairs each and then relocating it to the affected area. Commonly referred to as the “strip” method of hair treatment, the side effects often involve swelling, bleeding, and red patchiness.
Unlike FUT, Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a detailed procedure that requires meticulous care in practice. Essentially, each hair strand is extracted one by one from a part of the scalp where hair growth is flourishing—usually the crown or back of the head—and then carefully repositioned in the area where hair growth is lacking. Much like FUT, common side effects include swelling and redness for the first couple of days. This procedure may be painstaking, which is why it will often cost approximately 40% more than FUT.

A beard, a mustache, sideburns, a goatee and rugged stubble are style options every man should have. Due to genetics, surgery, burns or other injury, men can suffer from thin or scarce facial hair.
Painless and non-invasive. Laser therapy aims to photo-biostimulate the cells. This therapy actually excites the cells. Using a Low-Level Light Laser, our physician will encourage hair growth by stimulating the scalp.
